The most successful opener and former captain of Bangladesh, Tamim Iqbal Latest News, has recovered after suffering a sudden heart attack during a domestic Twenty20 competition in Dhaka, according to medical professionals. Doctors have allegedly told Tamim that the next 48 to 72 hours are still “critical” for his long-term rehabilitation, and they have recommended him to avoid participating in any sports.
While participating in a Dhaka Premier League match for Mohammedan Sporting Club, Tamim experienced a heart attack. After the startling event, he was taken to the hospital and treated right away.
The 36-year-old has recovered and seems to be in good health after undergoing an angioplasty and an angiography to clear the blockage in his artery.
“Tamim has begun to walk a bit and his condition is getting better. The following 48 to 72 hours are still crucial, though. According to Cricbuzz, Professor Abu Jafar, Director General of the Health Directorate, stated that he must wait at least three months before returning to his regular activities, including sports.
According to Professor Abdul Wadud, head of the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases, Tamim had an echocardiography on Tuesday morning that revealed positive results.

“His heart seems to be functioning OK, but we need to be caution. Unusual rhythms could still happen. We have cautioned against moving right away,” he continued.
According to reports, Tamim Iqbal’s family is prepared to move on with his therapy and resume their regular routine.
